We are dedicated to addressing critical issues affecting our communities, from poverty and education to healthcare and relief. Together, we can create lasting change and brighter futures for those in need.
Many areas of the Middle East have high rates of poverty and unemployment. This can be especially true of Chirstian and minority communities, as they are often isolated or persecuted, therefore, excluded from many jobs. MECA delivers food boxes of essentials to families in need. We also deliver other forms of essential aid such as hygiene kits, first aid kits, heaters and blankets in winter, wheelchairs and we help with some medical needs.
Some people don’t have the means or the ability to cook food for themselves. Many don’t have anyone to care for them. This includes those with chronic illnesses such as dialysis patients, the disabled, homeless people or those in inadequate housing and the unemployed who struggle to pay their utilities. MECA blesses these groups with a hot meal delivery to ensure they don’t go hungry.
MECA provides partial or full scholarships to Christian children to allow them to attend Christian schools. Non-Christian schools often force children to learn other religions and give inadequate teaching. Attending a Christian school strengthens the Christian community by allowing children to grow together in fellowship and learn the Bible from a young age.
MECA sponsors summer kids camps throughout the Middle East. We believe in the importance of training children to be the future leaders. Our programs, therefore, focus on building solid biblical knowledge in a fun and creative way. We usually provide a bus for pickups, daily meals, and school supplies for the upcoming school year.
